Just a few days ago, I returned back home to Brisbane from another great conference – Directions4Partners ASIA in Bangkok. And it was again a TOP event with an amazing organization team and also the best community.
First of all, I would like to thank all organizers for such an amazing event. It was an honour to be part of the speaker community, especially with all help (free entrance, great accommodation and food). I really appreciate it, and not only I, but I heard the same words from all speakers. Amazing event!
Slides from my session: Power Of Open Source Base App, Directions4Partners ASIA 2023
And a few slides. Really good attendance for such a specific topic. Thank you all for attending!
As always, the first day of each day is Keynote, with information from both Directions4Partners organizations and Microsoft.
After the keynotes, it started to be really complicated. So many amazing sessions at the same time…
- DEPRECATING FEATURES & UNIVERSAL CODE IN BUSINESS CENTRAL by Mohana Yadav
- MICROSOFT REGIONAL SESSION FOR PARTNERS IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND by Tim Shaw
- A must-attend session for me as a lead tech in Australia
- MICROSOFT PRESENTS: WHAT’S NEW IN SERVER AND DATABASE by Kennie Pontoppidan
- Amazing news and updates for platform and performance. BC will be super quick (if it’s not already).
- MICROSOFT PRESENTS: LOCALIZATIONS TODAY AND IN THE FUTURE by Aleksandar Totovic
- My favourite session (sorry Aleksandar :-D), especially having all the discussion about future plans and delocalisation plans.
The second day was again full of amazing sessions. It all started with another 2-hours long Keynote session (that I had to skip, unfortunately), followed by my own session about the BC Open-Source program.
After my session, I had time for only the next to sessions before I had to leave for the airport; those were
- MISTAKES MADE BY DEVELOPERS DURING BUSINESS CENTRAL INTEGRATION PROJECTS by Tharanga Chandrasekara and Steve Gichure
- Interesting session about what are the most critical things (and most common mistakes) in the standard integration project
- MICROSOFT PRESENTS: OVERVIEW OF WHAT’S NEW IN ALL POWER PLATFORM INTEGRATIONS by Monica Ahuja
- I’m a huge fan of all solutions where Power Platform & Business Central are working together, so it was great to hear all the amazing news and even what’s planned for the next releases.
And lastly, a few photos from Wednesday and Thursday evening as well as a few photos of Bangkok from my hotel room. Unfortunately, I had to leave early afternoon on Friday, so I had no time to explore the city. That’s definitely my goal for the next year!
